The Mu Kappa Chapter, Upsilon A Province, of Sigma Alpha Iota is the youngest and largest music fraternity at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. We work to promote music throughout the school, community, and the world.

     Since Mu Kappa's initiation on November 16, 2013, our chapter has grown exponentially and we look forward to welcoming new members every semester.

     All female-identifying students at Western Illinois University with an established campus GPA of 2.5 or higher, have completed a music course, and have a sincere love of music are eligible for membership.  We recruit at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

Our 2019 Spring semester has gotten off to a great start!! A few highlights of January and early February were our recruiting events planned by our VP Membership, Ashlyn Carnes, and an SAI Formal night organized by our Social Chair, Bri Haas.
