Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity was founded June 12, 1903 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our seven founders began this organization through their hard work and talent. What started out as just one collegiate chapter has grown into a multitude of collegiate and alumnae chapters.

 

The Mu Kappa Chapter of SAI was founded in 2012 and was officially initiated on November 16, 2013. Our chapter began with 16 lovely ladies determined to establish a sisterhood that had a sincere love of music. Mu Kappa is the youngest and largest music fraternity on campus and we are very fortunate to be thriving at this time. Since we've begun, we have initiated 48 new members and we currently have 5 members-in-training this Spring semester. We're very thankful to continue to grow each year!
